He was not thorough or informative, or personable. Had I less knowledge of my issue, he would have had me walk out of there with very little care

I am writing to express my profound disappointment and despair regarding the care I received for my rotator cuff tear. This past year has been the most painful and exhausting recovery of my entire life—worse than recovering from a C-section—and it could have been avoided.Negligence & Delayed Diagnosis: During my first visit, the doctor cleared my bones via X-ray and told me to do physical therapy for a few weeks, which I strictly followed. However, despite the ongoing pain, he completely ignored my tendons, offered no MRI option, and provided no proactive follow-up timeline. Because of this failure to look into the soft tissue, I wasted nearly four months in severe pain before my shoulder swelled, leading to a massive, delayed surgery that required unexpected metal hardware.Broken Promises & Medical Gaslighting: Before the surgery, the doctor assured me I would recover 100% back to my original state. Now, at nearly 12 months post-op, my right shoulder is still missing 20% of its range of motion. To make matters worse, during my last visit, he shifted the blame, coldly stating that if it doesn't improve in the next 6 months, it will just stay this way forever. This sudden shift in attitude has left me feeling utterly hopeless.Questionable Referrals & Physical Toll: Instead of recommending standard, insurance-covered physical therapy for my post-op recovery (like manual therapy or joint mobilization), he told me toward MoveX—the most expensive option, which no insurance covers. I am currently forced to pay entirely out-of-pocket to go there once a week, while simultaneously enduring the physical trauma of attending another covered clinic twice a week. This intense regimen has left my arm constantly swollen and bruised.I expected professional expertise and genuine patient care. Instead, I feel misled, financially taken advantage of, and left to deal with a permanent limitation caused by delayed intervention.

I was in a great a lot of pain at night which affected my sleep. I did not get any resolution for the pain until I went to Physical Therapy One2One where they specialize in postural realignment which is probably not the correct term. Patients with shoulder pain should referred to this type of PT.
