I appreciated the Lyft ride home and my associate, Juan, was very nice, but I doubted the diagnosis due to a couple of factors. I came in concerned about a clicking/popping sound when making sharp turns. First, there was a red highlighted item to fix my camshaft but Juan said it was not immediately needed and would be OK to drive for a while. However there was a yellow highlighted item to repair my differentials that Juan said was an immediate emergency. The color/warning system does not seem to match the severity of each task. Second, I was told I needed to replace my engine and cabin filters but I had just personally replaced those 2 weeks prior. When asked how dirty they had gotten the response I received was " Well we live in Colorado so just make sure to get those replaced by your next service appointment." The combo of these 2 confusing points instilled some doubt.I took my car to a different shop today where they found none of the same issues, but instead recommended a rear wheel bearing replacement, which seems to align with the issue I'm experiencing. I don't want to doubt Subaru, but there was a huge variance in diagnosis and issue transparency.
