I went to Mike Shaw Subaru fully prepared to buy a 2024 Crosstrek that they had in stock and listed online at a particular price with the discount so they were offering. I also went with a full understanding of my credit score and The interest rate that I could expect to get. I was disappointed that my initial offer for financing through Mike Shaw was showing a considerably lower Credit score and interest rate then I had expected. It was so far off that I was willing to get up and walk away from the table. It wasn’t until after this that the interest rate finally came down to what I had expected. Even then the price of the car was higher than what the advertised price was. It was obvious that they were trying to get me to pay a lot more for the car in both the price and interest rate. I would’ve walked away from the deal except for the fact that they had the car that I wanted. had I not been prepared. I would’ve been screwed over. Other than this, the service was good. I was happy that they offered a lift service from my home in Longmont to come pick up the new car.
