Great well maintained building. Staff of 185 Lyon great to deal with.I have had a couple of not-so-great experiences with the resident service center and a rude elevator technician but that does not reflect on the staff at 185 Lyon.I also wish the elevator situation would be resolved especially since the property is asking for an above guideline rent increase. That being said, no building can be perfect and as long as that is the only recurring issue I am happy to stay at 185 Lyon, since it is hard to find such a good place to live downtown.

I really appreciate all of the staff and how well the building is maintained. I only wish there was more storage space in my apartment, but otherwise, this is worth the rent.

Rent is too high and keeps increasing. The layout in the studio apartment could be improved by making the kitchen bigger or providing more counter space. Water pressure in the bathroom can be improved.

Most of our treatment has been lovely but our primary concern has not yet been addressed. There are scrapes in the floor where a new refrigerator was brought in and installed after the floors were refinished. We would like this deficiency addressed as soon as possible. We would give a much higher rating if so.

Thank you…the washer and dryer appliances are working beautifully, however there was some slight damage done to the apartment during the move in of the new appliances and move out of the old ones.1) there is a circular scratch on the floor outside the laundry room door.2) the external door to the apartment has lost a dark grey paint chip and a white circle shows through.

The new maintenance person did way better than the previous one. The previous one bent the shower curtain rod as he was installing it.

I’ve had an amazing experience so far in my new apartment. The apartment itself is wonderful. It was freshly painted and deep cleaned prior to my arrival. The staff have all been great. Specifically, Andrews at the concierge desk has been so friendly and welcoming. A++ experience and I’ve even convinced my colleague to move in—she recently signed her lease and moves in in a couple of weeks. I will sing the praises of this place to anyone who will listen!
