this place sucks. upon our move in date there were, and still are, holes in our floor under the vinyl, all outlets are loose, and our “new” washer and dryer were both broken. one of our toilets broke and it took maintenance 2 months to fix it, and they didn’t even let us know they were coming. just showed up out of nowhere. and the worst thing is we were charged an extra $298 on our july rent because of a mix up the complex had with the austin energy company. something that had nothing to do with us, but we paid the price for it, and now we can’t afford groceries. mission james place is a shithole.

It’s funny that you say you appreciate us, yet absolutely nothing is ever done about the destructive neighbors above us. They are wild animals, and assuming all deaf people act like that is discriminatory on your part. No compassion for people needing to sleep — in order to work — and, ultimately, in order for people to pay their rent.

One word to describe my experience here is frustrating. Delayed pest control because of office error because you didn’t pay them then said it was on pest control….maintenance understaffed causing delays in work orders. Constant new management. Hard to communicate with office. Requested a move out time via email and over the phone days in advance and yet got no response. When I finally did get someone on the phone they (Amy) couldn’t give me a timeframe and was a bit rude when I pressed I wanted one.

Overall I like living here, it’s just the bugs and homeless down the street that makes it a 7/10. Other than that it’s a nice place! Maybe update some of the facilities like the pool in the future.

Didn’t receive any communication regarding move out, besides a 30 minutes heads up that my keys were due on a Sunday. The office had never been open on Sunday before that

I love the location and my updated apartment was a great space! The new leasing team has been more communicative than any of the 4 others that I had dealt with in 3 years. But I would have appreciated a little more communication about the move out process
