Very misleading. As a new patient, it should have been explained to me when I walked in to make my initial appointment that the first visit is a consultation only. also, my insurance did not get verified until my visit was completed. I then learned that the office is not within my network. I filled out the forms the day before in the morning, giving my insurance information. It should’ve been verified then or at least prior to my visit so I knew coming in. It should not have been assumed that the patient knows or found out whether the office is within their network or not. so since I got all of the x-rays done I now have to go to another dentist office that is within my network and start the process over and have y’all send them all of my records. My appointment was at 1:50 PM and apparently five other people also had the same appointment time. Dr. Ross was nice however because she’s not working the front desk she has no idea what has been done or said prior to her meeting the patient. It should’ve been made clear before the visit began to give people a chance to decide. Do I want to pay out-of-pocket do I want to just go in for a consultation and not receive cleaning. you can’t assume every dentist office works the way you do because some dentist office will take a new patient consultation in cleaning all on the same day. I don’t like giving low ratings but this visit cost me $100 just for us to have a conversation.

My experience at Moorestown Dental was the best dental experience I've ever had and I have seen plenty of dentists! The staff was kind and patient. Dr. Rush was very knowledgeable and comforting. Great practice overall!

The check up with Dr Rush was great. Next-level communication on what’s happening in my mouth. Can’t recommend her enough. I also appreciated the very clear breakdown on costs from reception. I’ve never had that before and it was helpful. The cleaning, however, was terrible. The hygienist was new to the practice (day one, patient one!) and she was aggressive and very sloppy (water poured out of my mouth all over my neck and hair, and she did nothing to help). Also, over the 50 years (and 99 check ups - only missed one during Covid in my whole life), was this the first time that a dentist took my blood pressure. And when the hygienist was halfway through cleaning when a nurse interrupted us to take the blood pressure was when I started to question my decision of switching to this office. I know she didn’t know about the blood pressure thing, but to interrupt in the middle for this was insanity. Finally - no rinse sink next to patient chair? I had to get up and walk across room to rinse. That was a first! And not pleasant.I’ll give the office another try because I really do like the dentist and the process of her work and her thorough communication. I might go to an entirely different place for regular cleanings if they can’t put money down to find a good hygienist to clean teeth. I know hygienists are leaving by the droves from my previous dentist, so they’re out there!

A text asking to confirm an appointment and then a text reminder is sufficient.Receiving 2 phone calls then a text to confirm is a bit much. My recommendation is send text to confirm and if no response, follow up with a call.
