I brought my car in for an oil change and have them turn off my check engine light. The light was for "cold idle" and has been coming on and off for several yrs. I kept being told that Kia did not have a fix for it. This time I was told that they were going to call Kia and keep trying fixes until they got it fixed and not just turn the light off. After almost 3 hrs. I was told that it was a software update and I should not get that particular light come on again. So far (after almost 1 wk.) the light has not came back on. I was very impressed with the gentleman that seemed to take it on himself to get this fixed instead of just turning off the light after all these years.
