my son took his car in to get a cracked headlight cover replaced and an oil change. he was talked into 4 new tires including rotation that was nearly $1000, and a couple other items that didn't need to be that expensive. usually we have gone with a less expensive tire, and usually we are offered a 10% discount on services. i felt that he and my wife were taken advantage of. i wish to be consulted on all repairs.
