I didn’t stay at the dealership and was dropped off before closing to pick up, but the drop off process was easy and smooth, and Asif dealt with my concerns regarding the start/stop error and the hood bonnet sound insulation replacing under warranty. Smooth process. I did get a low tire pressure light the day after, so maybe not enough air was added to compensate for the temp drop/colder weather, but VW in Kennesaw took care of it and no issues since then. Thank you.

You all said you give loaner vehicles if someone has an engine problem. I had a leak from the engine area and I was told that there was no loaner for a month……I’ve never dealt with a dealership with no loaner vehicle.

I made an appointment for sept 15th to have the car looked at for a coolant consumption issue and a cold start engine rattle noise under warranty.I dropped the car off on the 15th. After a few days they informed me that it was a leaking water pump , thermostat and oil cooler. Said it would take a few days to get parts and perform the repairs. They told me it was done and ready to go on sept 21st. I went to pick the car up on the 22nd , they said they didint find any problems related to the cold start engine rattle (it still has that problem to this day) but everything else was fixed. Before I left the parking lot there , I checked the coolant level and it was out , far below the add mark and range mark. Just a small sip at the bottom of the coolant tank. And the engine oil was more than 2 quarts low. I went back in and informed them of this , they sent a tech out and he filled the coolant and oil.I took the car and made it 4 exits down the highway before it overheated and was steaming , warning lights on the dash for low coolant and engine temp. I quickly took the next available exit and pulled into a parking lot. I popped the hood and coolant was everywhere! The coolant tank cap was secure and tight but there were leaks all over. I called and told them what happened and they said to drive it back??? Didn't offer a tow!! so I drove it very slowly back to the dealer. I had to leave it there with them Again. After a few days they said the tech had to redo the water pump and thermostat due to "faulty parts" and it was ready for pick up.Today I went to get it , popped the hood and noticed multiple missing bolts holding the coolant line bracket , loose bolt at the harness bracket , and a missing bolt on the fuel pressure regulator!!!!! I didn't have to look very hard to see thoes right on top!So once again I went back inside and informed them of this, they sent a tech out to look and confirm what I found. They took the car back into the shop and I waited almost 3hrs for 3 bolts!! Makes me wonder what els was left undone or loose??I dont ever complain or make a big deal out of anything ever. I understand mistakes happen. But this is somthing I would experience at a hole in the wall general auto shop , Not A Volkswagen Dealership! After the car sits all day or over night it still has a horrible engine rattle coming from the passenger side timing cover area that they said they could not replicate. Yet every time I came to get the car there it did it on start up.
