I moved in May 2020 when it was still Jefferson Town Lake. I Had some issues initially with getting the comps I had been promised, but other than that, the new management had been pretty reliable in updating the property and the overall day-to-day operations. In Jan 2022, my rent was raised by over $400 a month, along with most properties in the area. The new management is very corporate and seems only concerned with making money. Bianca, the main manager, cannot really be trusted. Make sure you get any conversation with her in writing as she often will change the conversation around to benefit the complex. Juan was great to work with, and I often tried to deal with him on most things without any issues.I moved out last week (July 6) and planned on writing a fairly positive review until I received two calls from a collection agency today (July 14). On July 1, I paid all of my July dues, as shown in my account. Before I left, I cleaned the apartment from top to bottom and left my keys as instructed. The debt collectors they sold my debt to (debt I was not made aware of) are ruthless, even calling my mom after moving out not even a week ago with a zero balance. I received no communication from Norte stating I owed anything further or that anything was wrong with the move-out. Upon looking at my account, they billed me on July 11 for several random charges totaling almost $200 and instantly sent them to collections. What an unprofessional and greedy way of ending a tenant/renter relationship. After this experience, I will never lease from Norte Town Lake or any Fairfield Residential property again and advise you to steer clear. I plan on fighting the charges, and thankfully, I took pictures of the apartment showing the condition before I left. Renters beware.
