The facility was overcrowded and chaotic. The space is severely cramped, with no adequate seating or desk space for customers. The service counters and waiting area are completely intermingled, creating a disorganized environment. Communication is handled by shouting; if you don't respond immediately to a shout, staff simply assume you are absent and ignore your case. The staff are consistently hostile and stone-faced, showing zero professionalism or willingness to assist customers.1. Breach of New Car Limited Warranty (NCW)The vehicle (2023 Mitsubishi Outlander SE) has only 7,324 miles. A seized rear brake caliper caused extreme premature wear (3mm vs.7mm), as confirmed by an independent inspection. The dealer's refusal to honor the manufacturer's warranty for a documented mechanical defect constitutes a direct breach of consumer protection laws and warranty terms.2. Evidence Tampering and Fraudulent ConcealmentUpon forced payment, the dealer provided "replaced parts" that do not match the actual defective components I photographed inside the service bay during the inspection. This intentional substitution of physical evidence suggests a fraudulent attempt to conceal the root cause of the failure and evade accountability.3. Payment Under Duress (Illegal Collection Threats)The "service" was not a mutual agreement but a result of illegal coercion. The Service Manager threatened to refer my account to a debt collection agency to damage my credit score if I did not pay for the warranty-covered defect. This is a predatory business practice designed to extort payment from consumers.4. Hostile Conduct and Safety RetaliationThe dealership maintained a hostile environment, where staff shouted at me and threatened to "kick my ass out" and banned me from the premises for questioning their fraudulent practices. This retaliatory behavior prevents any safe or reasonable resolution at the dealer level. While I was still seated inside my vehicle, a service staff member abruptly opened my car door without consent, reached across me to forcibly shut off the engine, and seized the key from my dashboard—all without saying a single word. This aggressive, silent, and unauthorized physical intrusion into my private vehicle was both threatening and traumatizing, demonstrating a complete lack of professional boundaries and a total disregard for customer safety and privacy.I have been a loyal Mitsubishi owner for nearly 30 years, my old 1997 mirage is still running fine in my own country. I chose the 2023 Outlander to support the brand during its rebuilding phase. However, due to the fraudulent warranty denial, illegal credit threats, and physical intimidation (forcibly seizing my keys) at Northstar Mitsubishi, I will NEVER purchase a Mitsubishi again, nor will I recommend the brand to anyone. You have officially lost a lifelong advocate due to the unchecked misconduct of this dealership. While I was still seated inside my vehicle, a service staff member abruptly opened my car door without consent, reached across me to forcibly shut off the engine, and seized the key from my dashboard—all without saying a single word. Thank You all, may God Bless everyone and familiesThank you all and mechanics who work so very hard on the vehicles. Everyone is always nice and welcoming. The facility is always clean and bathroom as well. And, there’s always snacks and coffee. I never had a problem with my vehicle maintenance with Mitsubishi and feel they are fairly priced considering the vehicle and parts. May God Bless everyone and families🙏🏽
