Primary and after care were both great. The only negative experience I'd mention is that during the initial appointment it appeared as if everyone was in a rush. Thankful the procedure went well and I look forward to coming back in a few months to get fitted for an implant.

Waiting room is too small. Otherwise, the overall experience was excellent.

I get very bad anxiety about anesthesia due to having 2 emergency surgeries in the past. I started getting a bit panicky in my chair before my procedure. I was embarrassed, but I started to cry a little and the staff was so kind, did their best to put me at ease and got the Doctor in. He was genuinely so kind. These people really define compassionate, professional care. When my other wisdom teeth need to come out, I hope to return here where I know I’m in great hands.

I can't say enough on what a great staff and support people the the Doctor has working for him...And the Doctor was very friendly and informative on the procedure that was performed on me...I hope not to be back for more teeth, but if I do I know what to expect...great people...

Overall, my experience was good, and I especially appreciated my surgeon personally calling the afternoon of my surgery to check in — that was really thoughtful and unexpected! That said, I do think there’s some room for improvement with the office staff communication. Small things, like letting patients know “take a seat and we’ll call you back soon,” go a long way. During my consultation check-in, I felt a bit left hanging, and when cost was explained, the staff member went through it very quickly and in a robotic way. It made it hard to ask questions, and I felt more like a checklist item than a patient. For my wisdom teeth removal, I was taken back and started on my IV without any explanation of what was happening — I wasn’t sure if I was about to be put under, when the doctor would come in, or what to expect. The staff were kind, but there were several young team members who were talking mostly to each other instead of walking me through the process. For example, when they tried to insert the IV, I heard “oh I busted it, gonna try again” directed at another staff member — it felt a little unprofessional, since it was my arm. I would have appreciated a brief heads-up about what local anesthetic or medications were being administered, even if it’s just nausea meds. Being walked through the steps makes the experience feel safer and more comfortable. After surgery, everyone was very kind, and the surgeon was great. I think if the staff communication were a bit more intentional and patient-focused, the overall experience would be excellent.- Hannah Reyes (337) 412 9321

When I had the procedure it did not take more than 30 minutes. Unfortunately, it took almost 2 hours to get started. For this reason I would be hesitant to recommend to family and friends. I understand if there are delays but do not schedule too many patients because then everyone is waiting extremely past their appointment time.
