I'm unsure as to what my treatment plan is. Also, my insurance benefits are unclear.I don't know if I owe them anything. The visit went well, the techs and dentist were warm and friendly. However I am confused about the results.

The wait between seeing the person who took x rays and who came to assess my gums was very, very long. Then, the wait after the gums assessment to seeing the dentist was even longer! I was at the office for nearly two hours for the first visit.I also felt weird about the questions regarding deep cleaning. I have never had a deep cleaning. I usually pay for two extra cleanings per year with my dentist in Ohio and I felt as if the people handling my visit felt my teeth were dirty and gross.The dentist did not introduce herself. She did not apologize for the wait time. And she was not friendly.The other ladies were nicer, but, I did feel as if I was stupid because I did not know what a deep cleaning is. I’m very educated. I have a master’s degree in languages and I did not feel good about the experience overall.

Good morning the initial visit was much longer than I anticipated. But I understand the wait. Everyone was so thorough at their job. The only disappointment seems to be the charges are much more than what I have experienced in the past with other dental offices.

I had an initial appointment for an assessment with Dr. Rodrigues. She is wonderful. She listened to me and suggested a treatment plan which will suit my needs. The office staff was so efficient and kind.
