Poor preemptive pain control and education regarding anticipated challenges

I unfortunately waited over an hour to be seen. My appointment was for 10:30am, and I wasn't called until after 11:40am. I approached the check-in desk multiple times to inquire about the reason for the delay. The system for some reason displayed that I was in the midst of having x-rays taken, even though I was still sitting in the waiting lobby. I realize that administrative errors happen, however, I would have appreciated greater attention to detail in that I was sitting in plain view of every MA coming out to call their patients. Someone should have taken it upon themself to figure out what was happening instead of wasting so much of my time.

Dr. Schipper had great “Bed Side Man ers”. That’s important to me after being a knowledgeable, skilled, have a clear vision, patient, respectful, mild mannered, spiritually minded, shows compassion and he’s friendly.

Visit was with Martel. She did an excellent job explaining where my injury started, the specific progress made, and next steps for healing, recovery, and rehab. I understand what to expect.

I've been coming to Anderson Clinic since I was in high school, 1979. My provider then was Dr Elmer Bigley. All of your physicians except for 2 over the years, have been exceptional. Dr Oliver Schipper is in the exceptional column! He is always courteous, thorough and a wonderful listener.

The Dr did a good examination to define the issue and then made recommendations to help aliviate the issue.
