AOC’s excellence of detailed Surgical repair !

Dr. Schipper and his team (Christine and Joe) are amazing! You can tell they genuinely care about their patients, and they are consummate professionals, as well. Christine came in to check on me today, even though I was booked with Dr. Schipper. She just wanted to be sure I was doing better after an infection. Dr. Schipper is very upbeat and warm, and went out of his way to see me in the hospital. I highly recommend them for ankle replacement surgery.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable office environment, excellent rapport with the doctor including very good communication about my issue and possible treatment options. Only complaint would be the wait was a bit long once I reached the treatment room.

Dr. Schipper is an excellent surgeon,and a caring doctor. He follows through with after- care and explains everything in detail. His staff is equally wonderful and efficient. My outcome for a total ankle replacement far exceeded my expectations. it is not an easy operation, by any means, and my recommendation would be to prepare yourself for many months of strengthening exercises to enable 4 to 6 weeks of no weight bearing on the foot. Also, getting the recommended equipment is of the utmost importance to a successful outcome.
