I’ve gone to Anderson Clinic for years. I am always glad to see Dr. Schipper. BUT, my insurance will not pay for AFO he ordered. We are paying for new travel wheelchair from pocket, necessary; new B Pap, $1800, imperative; new battery for electric wheelchair, $375, imperative. Where do we stop? AFO is $600 - $700. Should we do? We will soon run out. Need to know if Dr. Schipper thinks imperative?

Traveling from far away (Staunton, VA) Dr. Schipper and the staff understood the challenges that come with that. For an upcoming procedure they set me up as best as they could to not need to come for a pre-op visit. I appreciate that they thought of that and how to ease any inconvenience.

The PA I saw was great but it is strange to me that you charge and code the visit as a visit with an MD as I never met with Dr Schipper

There wasn't a visible break and I'll be returning for a follow up in 3 weeks to see if the swelling and pain are reduced. From the time of entering the office all of the staff were professional and the doctor took the time to analyze my foot pain, pinpointing to the most likely issue with recommendations for recovery.
