We arrived early as we weren't sure about traffic after traveling a good distance away. They took me right away, got me right into x-ray and then back to a room. There was no wait at all. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Schipper was very knowledgeable, explained things well, and offered several options for course of treatment. He was very gentle with the cortisone injection and the young lady fitting me with the ankle brace was great. It was an all around wonderful experience from being to end. I would highly recommend this practice and Dr. Schipper to anyone with ortho foot and ankle problems.

Dr Schipper was great, clearly spelled out options and answered all my questions.

My travel was longer because of traffic, but they took me back to a room very quickly. I had to sit in the room for quite some time waiting for my CD to upload. It took a while because of the poor internet connection. Eventually Dr. Schipper came in with his laptop to view my results. He was very thorough and described surgery and downtime. He agreed since the second surgery wasn’t urgent and since I needed to build up my time to take off work he would give me extended accommodation for work and my ADA situation.But when I reached out to the office about the paperwork for my ADA/FMLA documents she (Michelle) told me he wouldn’t accommodate me. Funny thing is my boyfriend asked me to recorded the conversation only because I wouldn’t remember to tell him everything the doctor said.. and he did in fact say he would extend my accommodations both with a rx for the cam boot and ADA . Now he’s saying otherwise very upsetting. He’s willing to give me prescriptions for pain and an order to wear a boot, but not willing to give me accommodations to cover me if I miss time due to the increased pain. During this 1 surgery the Office consistently wants me to pay a $50 fee each time they fill out a form , the ADA & FMLA form instead of a 1 time fee. I have paid $150. already and now I am expected to pay again but they refuse to cover any loss of time if I have increased pain on the form and happen to miss a day..Unbelievable . I don’t plan on missing any time hence why I need to build up time at work for this second surgery. I am genuinely disappointed and upset. Not only am I not any better than I was 7 months ago, but now I am not even sure what to think or trust.

Dr. Schipper is extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. I appreciate his professionalism and clarity when explaining medical issues.

I think seeing Dr Shipper will be a game changer in solving my ankle issue. He was thorough, knowledgeable and patient explaining my condition. I am firing my other orthopedic office.
