My experience with Dr. Schipper was very good. He was thorough and explained everything regarding my condition, and also set an initial course for treatment. The only issue I have had is with your DME department. The cast which was provided to me does not fit me correctly, and is causing me pain. Melania in Dr. Schipper's office said that I needed to contact DME directly to resolve the issue, because it is very difficult for me to take yet another day off as I am a teacher and live in Maryland. I have left three messages for the DME department, and have not received a call back with a message yet. I am going to have to stop wearing the boot because it is too painful.

Dr. Schipper is a excellent doctor!! When I broke my leg and shattered my ankle he was immediately on it!! He is kind and thorough! I highly recommend him to anyone! My husband is now going to him. He may have to redo the fusion on his ankle that was done by another doctor!!!Carol Hakenson

I sought help here after a previous doctor. Dr Schipper took time to answer an entire list of questions and diagnosed the issue from a X-ray from month’s prior. I was very glad that he was able to provide specific details of what to expect and was honest about how much could be done, what to do to keep up strength in recovery, and what to expect in the future. He was able to resolve the pain from a previous doctors error in half the amount of recovery time and I was able to gain back some range of motion too. For the first time in over a year I can walk without an assistive device.

I am very satisfied with my surgery, I would definitely recommend Dr. Schipper.
