We called to ask about unexpected pain. We received incomplete information, but were told we would receive a call back as soon as the assistant was out of a procedure. Hours later someone else called as a routine check in. He gave conflicting and dangerous information about pain med dosing - take extra strength Tylenol then 2 hours later she could take hydrocodone with acetaminophen. When I was concerned about overdose of Tylenol, and asked if he meant 6 hours later he said, "you can do that,,too." I decided to delay adequate pain treatment and called the on call doctor after hours.We received lots of conflicting and incomplete information about post op procedures...between the post op assistant, the written instructions, and the routine check in from an assistant. For example, the post op assistant told us something about using the syringe, but told me it was all written in the instructions, but there is nothing about it in the instructions. Every information source had a different protocol for icing.

As much as I was dreading having this procedure done, the dentist and office staff and nurses were very accommodating and helpful. They made me feel so much better about having the procedure done. I would definitely recommend this group to my friends.
