Even if you dont have mitsubishi come check them out. I even asked the Tech Mark a question and gave me clarity on my routine

I don't think the TV should be on a news channel because it can be quite polarizing for guests. Pick a neutral channel such as nature, information, or entertainment other than partisan content.
