It was quick no fuss service. My service advisor, Will is friendly and professional as always. I have been an Acura owner since they were with David McDavid in Plano.

I dropped off the car for a service bulletin infotainment issue. I received a $2100 bill to install a separate piece of equipment. I decided to get a second opinion. While that’s not my primary issue, the fact that the service agent told me they never touched my battery is confusing since a number of checks for the service bulletin is disconnecting the battery, resetting the battery, checking the fuses etc… so it makes me wonder if they even addressed it. But the real issue is when we got the car back, and tried to start it the next day, it didn’t start. When I lifted the hood, I could hear the hot battery cable arcing on the post. When I checked it, it was super loose and I could easily remove the cable. It’s very well known that a loose battery cable can short the very sensitive system and this was a huge oversight by the tech team. I was told by my service agent that the battery was never touched.. pushing the blame elsewhere. This is a bold mis-statement since I personally had recently installed a brand new battery and I know those posts were tightened myself. In fact, I ran a number of preliminary tests based on the service bulletin of which I had to disconnect and reconnect the battery. And everything said “Be sure the posts are tight”. I texted my service agent Francisco first thing in the morning, and gave him ample time to respond. I received nothing. Therefore I posted a Google review explaining the experience I had. It was only then I received a response from “Cisco” which he told me my review should be directed at Acura Customer relations. Again, deflecting the source of my concerns. I paid $189 for a diagnostic. I expected more from Acura.
