My dealings with Dennis Vasquez and Charles Owens was super professional and what I expected from a premium Lexus dealer. Both made us feel valued and sold the total Lexus experience. The only reason I gave 4 stars vs 5 stars was over trade in value. We bought 2 cars from Park Place in a 6 week period and both times we were I considered “low balled” on trade value. We understand the need for Park Place to make a profit but both times we felt border line insulted like we were at a Ford or Chevy dealer vs Lexus. I will say each time Park Place negotiated to a satisfactory deal for all involved. The reason I bring this up we made a choice to drive past Sewell and give Park Place our business. Our past dealings buying Lexus autos was great at both dealerships. This transaction while successful did leave a unpleasant taste in our mouth dealing with management over the trade. I can say as a retired ExVP and GM in one of Berkshire Hathaway companies I was not comfortable with the conversation I had about our trade this week. My wife who never and I mean never enters discussions during car purchases even enter the conversation. Again let me state Dennis Vasquez did an outstanding job. I bought all our company fleet vehicles for years and we shared the hold backs etc. and had good relationships with GM dealers and Hyundai motor company dealers for our yearly purchases. Park Place has an amazing facility, product in Lexus and for the most part is spot on in the message and people that should be given when buying a premium auto brand. One other note when retiring I became a big Auto Pro/ Jerry Reynolds fan. I conferred with him by e mail repeatedly through my dealings with Park Place. He strongly recommends you folks at Park Place as he should as you are a valued sponsor for his show. I want to end this overly long note with my praise of Dennis Vazquas again as our Lexus sales executive. I would buy from him again in a heartbeat as he met all our Lexus expectations in his control. Will Rogers or Dale Carnegie could or would have helped the trade in experience at a Premium dealership like Park Place. Note - we appreciate the Lexus products we own and Dennis helping us.
