Overall, I did not receive the level of service I would expect from a luxury car dealership when I purchased by 2026 Lexus RX350h from Park Place Lexus. I came in on 1/20 to test drive the RX350 and RX350h and was assigned to Angela Drake. I texted her back later that day to reserve a RX350h that was being assembled and was verbally given a timeline of mid-February to early March. I texted her on 2/6 to see if there was a target date for the car to arrive and was told: no, it is still in the back. Whatever that means.On 2/9 I got a text from her that she broke her foot and will be out for a few days. Someone else will reach out if needed otherwise it’s BAU.On 2/19 I got a text from her that the car was here and I could pick it up the next day at 4pm. On 2/20, I got a text at 11am that she may need to leave early and put her foot up. Emily will help me instead. Then at 1pm I got a text that Emily was not available and I’d work with Datone.I arrived a few minutes before 4pm and was told Datone was busy with another customer and he would be out shortly. I sat waiting and wasn’t really asked if I needed anything until someone walked by around 4:20 and asked if I was being helped and if I wanted something to drink.I met with Datone around 4:30 and he was great, but it felt rushed at the end of the day and I felt very much handed off from one person to another at that point. I saw Angela’s belongings still at her desk so I believe she was still there. I don’t know why I needed to wait until 4pm to pick up the car, I believe it was ready before then. It just made everything feel rushed to get me out of there.I purchased the window protection and the car care protection and noticed drip marks down the doors the next day in the light. I’m taking care of those myself but it was just another thing that felt like a mediocre experience. When I was with Datone I stated that I wanted to make an appointment to have blackout badging applied. This was never scheduled so I called and scheduled it myself.Overall, I love the car. I just felt the treatment I got was not ideal. And I find it odd that customers aren’t given better information on vehicles arriving from the factory.
