My situation was unusual because I live in both Dallas & Austin area. Prior to the Park Place Arlington dealership, I picked up my 2010 GLK, from South Austin Mercedes.The multi inspection recommendations from Park Place Arlington was a shock.In trying to clarify findings with both dealerships ( although not affiliated), I found the service dept. director and advisor at Park Place to be less customer service oriented, concern & not as genuine. The service Dept at South Austin Mercedes, is far in service & going the extra mile in satisfaction.The only saving grace concerning Park Place, was speaking to Lamont, the Tech foreman. His approach was entirely different in welcoming, understanding the concerns & explaining their process. Although he stood behind his technicians, he was willing to take the time, see me as an owner & convinced me that their service could be what I needed. I've owned four Mercedes vehicles with currently having a 2024, & dealt with many services & dealerships. There should be a respect for all clients & an accountability expectation.
