The experience was okay, but not exactly what I was expecting from Park Place. I was told that my car would be detailed and cleaned on the outside, but it was not. The exact way I saw it when it was turned in as a trade in is the exact way I received it when I purchased it. I think the only thing that was done was a vacuum and onceover wipe down. However all the seats have crumbs and grit. The steering wheel was dirty. There was trash left in the cup holder. The car still have a strong odor of air freshner or cologne from the previous owner. The outside of the car had a wipe down with a dry towel, The where were cleaned a bit and some spray was put on the outside of the tires. However, there was caked on dirt on the car. I was told the car wasn't cleaned because of the cold weather although the day I picked it up was above freezing. But what was unfortunate about that is that I was encouraged that "everything looks good" and hurried along. I really didn't like that part. The car's windows were tinted but there are bubbles and on one side hairs were tinted over. It just seems like not a lot of car was put into preparing the car for delivery to me. I don't feel confident at all about a pre-sale inspection. I have zero confidence that the car was thoroughly evaluated and any issues remedied before turning the car over to me. I think the oil was changed and that's it. I've bought cars in the past and talked directly to finance person. It was very awkward for me to pass messages back and fourth that I could have just answered directly myself.
