I don’t feel there are enough staff to care for the residents in the Expressions area especially on the weekends. On my recent visit my Mom was still in her stained clothes from the previous day and had no depend on. She ultimately had an accident and had have a shower. The kitchen area has been in disarray for almost a year and needs to be finished. Lastly I feel the residents in Expressions may not get enough food and beverages at meal time. I also witnessed the staff scrapping out the food to stretch it out to ensure everyone received something for dinner. Also try and serve another beverage besides lemonade. Maybe some soda occasionally would be nice. I do want to applaud the commitment of Paula, Marion and Kathy as they do a great job with the residents in Expressions. Maybe consider getting food handlers so the staff can care for residents and not feel so overwhelmed. Also some nurses aides may help the situation. Parkway has made improvements but still has a ways to go.

The staff that checks the patients in the room and takes them down stairs for mealsare exceptional.I find that a majority of the time there is no one to monitor the phone at the front desk.

Generally communication is good, except when I am asked to provide clothing ect I never get any feedback on whether the items arrived and were acceptable.

You need an entertainment person when Gina’s off. Nothing for residents to do Friday and Saturday

On the telephone menu there is no front desk option.
