dealing with Patriot Insurance and my claims adjuster in particular was actually pleasant. I expected complete pushback regarding my claim as I would with any business. The agent was prompt in his meeting me onsight and had questions for me as well as the contractor i used for most electronic repairs. It was a great experience!

The adjuster explained the claims process but we should have asked questions about some aspects of the process we weren't sure about. The adjuster was very prompt in handling our claim.

My experience over many years is that I have always been dealt with in a friendly, professional manner. My agent has always responded to my calls promptly and with the help I needed. My adjuster helped me straighten out a problem on my vehicle title and was willing to work long and hard to get every issue resolved. Both my agent and adjuster earn high praise from me.

My only question refers to how my claim may be subrogated. My vehicle was struck from behind while I was stopped in a construction zone. Upon filing a claim with their insurance carrier I was informed that their policy was not in affect at the time of the accident. Therefore, I submitted the claim on my own insurance and wound up having to pay the $500 deductible on my own collision insurance. It is unclear to me how this will be handled from here. Will Patriot be going after this uninsured individual for the full amount of the repair? If so, will I be reimbursed my deductible? Will the individual be reported for being uninsured? I have not heard anything regarding this process or am I out of luck on the deductible amount?
This was an extremely easy and professionally executed process. Very much appreciated.
