My only question refers to how my claim may be subrogated. My vehicle was struck from behind while I was stopped in a construction zone. Upon filing a claim with their insurance carrier I was informed that their policy was not in affect at the time of the accident. Therefore, I submitted the claim on my own insurance and wound up having to pay the $500 deductible on my own collision insurance. It is unclear to me how this will be handled from here. Will Patriot be going after this uninsured individual for the full amount of the repair? If so, will I be reimbursed my deductible? Will the individual be reported for being uninsured? I have not heard anything regarding this process or am I out of luck on the deductible amount?
