I came in with my 5th blocked bowel issue in two years, but first time at PDH. I figured that was easy enough for them, but when they learned I was a Peritoneal Dialysis patient, that was that, and I was flown to Renown.I did expect PD to be a bit of an issue, and it does take a 3 day stay with an Ng tube inserted, but disappointed for that I had to go to Reno over that.Just moved back to Quincy a few weeks ago from the Tucson area after being gone from Quincy for 5 years, but I'm a past 40 year resident of Quincy and very familiar with PDH. I just know when it happens again, I'll come into PDH ER just to set an IV and get a good dose of Dilaudid to make the pain tolerable to drive myself to Renown.

The head nurse was very curtious as well gave good and helpful information after I was finished

The entire staff was just excellent from check in to discharge. A “ smooth running machine “Efficient, professional, caring people who honestly want to help and get you through the emergency experience with great care and compassion.ER Dr. Gabriel Mayland unfortunately had to stick a lot of needles in my right knee but he was very experienced at it and I was so fortunate to have him there!! Great guy. Superpersonality ! Explained everything I needed to know. Thank you!!

I’ve mentioned everything and now I’m sitting at home in a worse pain then giving birth. I had natural child births by the way. Sounds fabulous doesn’t it???
