I did not care for the new department setup. As a veteran ED RN for many years, I feel that Triage areas needs to be private. With the new set up I could hear the incoming patients being triaged, as there is only a curtain partition between Triage and the gurney I was on. In a small town this could lead to an opportunity for a potential breach in patient confidentiality.I do realize that space is extremely limited at PDH, and that cause some limitations.

I am a retired RN and spent 10 years in a busy ER. I know ER nursing skills when I see them. Ashley would be a valued member of any ER team anywhere in the country!!
