We had a vax shot last month in the up front clinic and had another vax shot this month in the North Fork clinic. It is absolutely night and day how the nursing staff works with children. We went from my daughter stating she never wants to go to the doctors again, to, I had fun there except for the shot part. No kid likes to get a shot but the environment and the demeanor of the nursing staff makes a huge difference. Thank you North Fork Staff for helping my kid be willing to go to the doctors again without fear. Unfortunately though, the hospital is moving our provider into the upfront clinic. We love having her as our Doctor. However, our experience from the last time we went to the up front clinic worries me on how it will affect my daughter experience with going to the doctor. Can anyone please explain to me why they feel it is necessary to switch providers around? How does that benefit the doctors and their patients?
