Rather than such long waits, which is always the case with afternoon appointments, maybe you can text patients to come in later according to how backed up things are. I sat there for 30 minutes and could have been doing other errands.

I waited in the lobby for 40 minutes before being called back. Meanwhile people were walking in and being called back before 5 minutes. There was clearly a break in communication and a mistake made.
