I had a doctor appointment on my calendar for 1/9 at 9:45 AM. I usually receive a reminder the day before and I hadn’t received one on 1/8, so I called the office just to confirm and to see where I needed to register for my apt. I spoke with a gal at approx. 2:35 and she confirmed my 1/9 apt., but told me it was at 9 am, not 9:45. To my surprise I showed up to registration on 1/9 at 8:55 AM only to be told I didn’t have an apt. I thought this to be odd as I explained that I just confirmed this appointment the day before and the girl followed up by stating I needed to be there at 9 instead of 9:45. This is concerning because I live 30 minutes away and drove an hour out of my way for nothing and no explanation as to how/why this happened. The girls at the front desk were very nice and apologetic, but I am still baffled as to how this happened especially when I called to confirm the appointment the day before.
