I have seen Dr. Alison Liewen for my last three visits. I first saw her because my regular provider did not have any openings for a month, and I really needed to see someone for an asthma flareup I was having.Scheduling set me up with Dr. Liewen because I was able fit in an appointment with her in a couple of days. I was told she was new to PDH and that everyone liked her, so we went ahead and scheduled the appointment.I am happy to say that I really liked Dr, Liewen on my first visit. She is calm and focused and took the time to ask me about my asthma. She referred to information from my chart about prior visits when I was having the same issues, and she took my input into consideration when deciding upon a treatment plan that we both agreed would give me the best results.I came back for a followup appointment a week later and we went over everything I had been experiencing. Dr, Liewen decided to have me continue on a specific med for one more week, At the end of my appointment she asked me if I would like to have some hand written notes from her about how to treat my flareups covering basic to emergency situations. Of course I said yes and after a few minutes she came back with a hand out that she had customized to my needs that I could use and follow for any stages of the flareups that I have.Third visit was just to ask some questions I had and to make sure she felt that I was heading in the right direction to heal. Again, I really like her, she is very nice, is patient and listens to my concerns, and answered all of my questions, and lets me participate throughout the visits. She made sure that I knew that she is available and that I can contact her at any time if I needed anything else. I look forward to any future visits with confidence, knowing that Dr. Liewen will seek the best solutions for me.
