This visit was handled well . Dr. Kepple is always excellent as is Julie. Dr. Kanello is also excellent as is Laura Orange.I wish I could say that about more providers but it’s hit or miss.

When I checked out after my appt, I was told that I would receive a call Weds for my follow up—but I didn’t receive a follow up call til the following weds to schedule my specialist appt.

The north fork building and providers are always helpful and kind. The emergency room on the other hand was a traumatic experience. The wait time in the ER is understandable but the treatment was garbage and extremely insensitive to the fact my daughter was screaming for food and water while waiting for a prescription no test results or testing simply a script. The nurse was extremely rude which is surprising because I’ve taken my daughters there since birth and they’ve always been super nice and sensitive to the fact that I may need to feed them, change a diaper, run to the car get my diaper bag. Idk the nurses name but she sure did enjoy her lunch as my two year old daughter was screaming for food. I was there for 5 hours and my daughter was not offered any Tylenol as her fever began to spike a rash broke out over her entire body and when I notified the nurse she simply touched her leg and said “she’s fine” I’m absolutely disgusted at how they treated a 2 year old. Come to find out she was also misdiagnosed and given antibiotics when she in fact did not have an ear infection but a viral infection 6th disease.

I really appreciate the willingness to work with me and my issues.
