The therapy here is the best part of the facility. The team is so friendly they helped me with my strength and especially my mentality. I owe a lot to Poway, I can finally get home today.

My husband was here for a short amount of time, and he was not the easiest patient to care for, but the team at Poway Healthcare Center still cared for him and were patient for him. Thank you Poway.

I was here for therapy a while ago but I've ended up staying while I work out my plans for home. Even though I've had to stay I've enjoyed the friendly staff here. I keep to myself mostly but when I need help they are always there.

I've been living here at Poway Healthcare Center for almost 7 years, and I am very happy here. This facility is really clean, and the staff here are really nice.

I was recently discharged from Poway Healthcare Center back in January and left the state to join a different program, and unfortunately, my left leg began to swell up. I was in so much pain at home, but Poway Healthcare Center gladly took me back. Their therapists are the best. It makes me happy seeing myself get stronger, and other residents thrive with me. I am very excited to go home, but I'm comfortable to call Poway Healthcare Center my second home.

The staff is always so nice to me and they help me with anything I need. From the girls in the office to the nurses on the floor, I really do appreciate each one of them.

I am a younger guy so I was first worried about being admitted into a "nursing home". However, Poway Healthcare does not give that nursing home feel at all. The majority of the staff members are younger and very friendly. The therapy team has been excellent, and I'm glad to have made a few friends here within the past month. They seem to really care about their patients, so I don't have to worry about anything else except to rest and make sure I get better.

I have stayed at Poway Healthcare Center twice within the past year and I am truly grateful for their care. I had my toe amputated and in the beginning, I couldn't even walk, so I was wheelchair bound, and today my surgeon announced that I can finally take my boot off and walk around freely without any devices. I am so happy because without the help of everyone at Poway, I would still be on a wheelchair in a nursing facility, instead of walking around my own home and community.

My husband was at this facility back in December, where he made great progress with his health. He was sent home after about a month and a half of being at the facility. However, he began declining at home, so I reached out to the administrative team, and within a day, my husband was back in Poway Healthcare Center and getting the proper care that he needs. I am beyond grateful for their perseverance to make sure that each of their patients make it home as safely as possible, and I know I can count on them to help him get his strength back so I can take him back home.

My wife and I visited a long-time friend here who recently had a stroke, and when I first heard the news, I was fearful that he would be paralyzed and wouldn't be able to speak with me. But to my surprise, he's getting serious therapy here and is in better shape than I expected. He seems happy and the staff is very friendly. I got the chance to talk and joke around with a few of the employees, and the facility just has a welcoming environment from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave.
