Dr. Paul does amazing work! He listens, pays attention to detail and performs his job extremely well. I do not remember being told only one person can go back with my daughter for her extraction. This is something that families should be told when making and/or confirming appointment. I had to leave my 8 year old daughter in the waiting room to go to the back. The front desk staff, mainly the girl that does billing needs more training. From texting to do business all the time to confirming insurance coverage. She did not know how to do her job. I went to the provider’s website to email her proof. She was attempting to confirm coverage via her personal info instead of my husband, the insured. The texting continued even after I declined receiving text messages. Maybe this part is personal- if you are collecting my money, pick up the phone to talk to your customers. Dr. Paul is excellent and the staff should represent that. I waited several days to receive to receive insurance authorization that was not confirmed until I received the notice in the mail from Delta dental and I informed billing of this. I did not have a copay in spite of being told this prior to consult and my EOB received revealed I shouldn’t have paid anything. This was not reported back to me, I paid additional in order to schedule extraction and the procedure is completed. I would recommend this provider to others and don’t want to complain because the results are priceless. However, consumers should be informed.

I went to the dentist and even my dentist was impressed with Richard E Paul's work. I was sitting in the dentist chair and my dentist stated how good Dr Paul's work is. The staff is always welcoming and always explain everything.

My extraction went fine except no one in your office told me I had to request my gold crown be returned to me. I got my gold back without asking after one (or both?) of the two extractions Dr. Paul performed on me years ago. No one told me then either. This time no gold crown returned, and I was told by phone that it was simply thrown out. Gold is worth money. My most recent experience on Feb. 3, I had to call appointments three times before staff would make sedation part of my procedure. But, no problems do I have with Dr. Paul. I have two successful implants in my mouth right now that wouldn't be there today were it not for him. I expect the third implant to be just as successful.

The doctor left a bone fragment protruding from my gum that my tongue finally felt after the bleeding stopped the next day. Because of a trip planned, I could not return to office to get it removed until 7 days later. It then required another shot to deaden the gum area and hurt while pulling it out anyway. This was not pleasant and was worse than the original tooth extraction.
