Bigger increase. Supervisors being present so some respect in checking on staff. They don’t seem to take safety serious they’re worried about budget rather than making sure we’re safe. Directors having favorites and its showing such as special schedules, going PRN, and promises that they never follow through with. CNO making comments about bringing in his own staff and who he is going to let go of. Watching all of us struggle and going home by 4:30. Not able to reach when needed.

As most have already said, staffing is the biggest one. More staff in general and staffing on the unit based on acuity. Also better pay if possible as cost of living is increasing.

Providing enough staff for the safety of staffs and the patients. Providing adequate compensation for the work that we do. Not prohibiting overtime because it discourages people from working. With the rate at which we get paid and working just 3 days a week is not sufficient to pay our bills. Bring back reflection time to help de-esculate tensions on the unit between patients and it gives staff a break to go on lunch. It also gives the patients a break where they can lay down and where they don't have to lay on the dirty floor whenever they are tired and want to sleep.

The pay rate is HORRIBLE! Life causes too much for this. Other facilities are making a minimum of $10 more. There needs to be a raise across the board

Increase pay across the board. Hire more staff. Bring back incentive. Security. Less aggressive patients. Listen to the staff. When we say manger we are not speaking on supervisors or the acno they are great. They are team players. We see them on the units. We see them in snow storms. We see them working the units . We see them interacting with patients. They are trustworthy and the new CNO is all of the complete opposite. No support. Lies and more lies. He feeds us hopes and dreams and empty promises.

I feel like as Directors we need to coach/ mentor our staff a little more than we do. Things change so fast that sometimes we need that little extra mentorship rather than write ups. Believe that as a team we can make it work.
