Raising Pay, PTO cash out at the end of the Year, more staffs, better communication, Security for both patients and staffs

Clear communication among all departments are essential. It would help if the hospital was more proactive instead of reactive. It would help if groups were patient-centered rather than staff conducting groups solely based on the daily scheduled predetermined topics. Patients are complaining that they hear the same thing all day and there are other topics they want to discuss that are not on the list of scheduled topics.

The pay is low, the moral is low and we’re understaffed

Cost of living has gone up but pay rate for most is underrated. Only department that receives incentive to pick up, education reimbursement, free health care and sign on bonus is the nursing department. It takes more than just the nurses to operate the facility however they are the only department that receives these perks. Most of the clinical staff have more education then many of the nursing staff and are paid much less!

Proction for the staff when we are attacked by the client like police or security

Nothing

Safety for both worker's and patients. Raised pay. Cash out our PTO at the end of the Year. Offered Incentive. Show your worker's that you really appreciated them. Do monthly meetings with your staffs and we'll have a better working environment

I would like better benefits particularly around maternity leave. And the programming schedule does not always work with the patients. I have had patients complain to me about having to do the same topic for every group and the schedule does not let us adjust our group topics to fit the patients more. For example, if a group were to ask for a group surrounding the topic of grief, our schedule would not allow for that when it is something the patients state they will benefit from. And the PM group times are not the best and the patients complain about having a group that late into the evening. Having a MHT led fun group around that time might be more beneficial for the patients and staff

- More compensation for what we do on the job. we do a lot and deal with so much and it puts a toll on OUR mental health, and we get paid so little for it.- having a FUNCTIONING vital machine on each unit instead of having to run around looking for one during a code blue- better hands-on training because some people are just plain clueless and there’s always new people training new people- more hygiene supplies available for patients because why are we always out of basic hygiene products- longer breaks as a choice because if we go out for food and they take long or there’s traffic, we don’t even get to eat on break. we get back to work and it’s already time to clock back in- more staff on units because we are always short staffed and struggling and then we can’t even take breaks but breaks are mandatory. it doesn’t make sense.

Reducing workload by providing more staff.
