1. deficiency in gloves, towels, rags, soap, underwear, hand sanitizer, soap in the work bathrooms, deodorant, toothbrushes, brushes, diapers, wet wipes for patients who need diapers, scrubs are a HUGE one, socks. no paper bags.2. we hire new techs and flex just about everyone. For most of us nurses and techs, this is our main flow of income.3. we need biohazard bags to dispose of waste.4. the nurses and techs work as a wonderful team but there is not enough techs placed on the schedule to round, have 1:1’s, los’s, make phone calls, open doors for patients, hand out snacks, line everyone up for smoke breaks, give group, turn on the tv ect.5. ridgeview claims to have smoke breaks for the patients. most facilities do not have smoke breaks, but because it’s given techs but especially nurses have to compensate for any patient’s lack of cigarette and withdrawal by buying “community cigarettes”. If cigarette breaks are promised, the company should be held responsible for delivering nicotine products.6. broken vital machines. sometimes you can’t even find one and they’re never available quick enough if you have to go looking for them. not enough blood pressure cuffs of different sizes to accommodate patients is a huge problem on every unit.7. we especially have an issue with not being able to donate clothes to the patients while plenty of them are cold, no scrubs available, and some of them may be homeless.8. We bring in patients with dementia for their dementia. Unfortunately we don’t have sufficient staff due to the flexes, diapers, or ability to give them the proper attention needed. This is very imperative as we strive to give every patient the necessary aid and most of us are not trained in memory care.1. deficiency in gloves, towels, rags, soap, underwear, hand sanitizer, soap in the work bathrooms, deodorant, toothbrushes, brushes, diapers, wet wipes for patients who need diapers, scrubs are a HUGE one, socks. no paper bags.2. we hire new techs and flex just about everyone. 1. enhance the therapeutic environment (calm, wellness-oriented spaces with natural light, soothing colors to reduce patient agitation)2. Strengthen discharge & after care planning in decent timing before discharge date (better coordination with referral sources and community reps, especially when they refer clients to us regularly or for the first time to nurture those business relationships). Offer check-ins or updates for step-down referral sources expecting a patient to discharge from us to them.N/a

Inadequate supplies , needs to be replenished in a timely manner and available at all times. Too much flexing taking away most of our vacation time because of company’s budget . Employees should be able to enjoy their personal and vacation time .Employees need to report regularly to work on their schedule shifts.
