Respect for each position. Transparency, open communication, create work friendly environments., decrease staff favoritism, increase pay for MHT, put patient care over profit… to name a few. Stop firing people and moving people around because of age. First a COO who is more compassionate with better communication skills directed toward staff. Present COO is very questionable.

Organizational structure and culture.

*Staffing is low. Patients negatively comment on it all the time. Some staff is not respectful in how they speak (Though many of those therapists have left because we have such high turnover).*The hospital is desperate to have patients in the outpatient unit, but then we get many who are too acute and negatively affect other patients’ treatment. Then more patients leave because they are too uncomfortable on the outpatient unit or in the Residence. I don’t blame them.

Better communication

There is a lot that Ridgeview could improve on, one being the method of communication. Why are you send updates at 11pm or 2am about policy and procedures. Can you have a Teams meeting? And why are we not able to use the tools allotted to us. Paycom is a resource we should be able to use. Even other places use apps for time clocks

Treat all staff fairly and show more appreciation to staff for their hard work especially when dealing with difficult patients. This facility needs an increase in security supervision. The institute is unsafe, most of the time the facility does not have security on the premises. The manager cares more about saving money instead of staff safety.

Staffing

To be improved on their work description M ht shouldn’t the train in Better?

Being fully staff
