Stop transferring staff to another unit once they have began working on one. Do some in house training on new patients assessments, Transfers, Discharges and other computer work that needs to be done on patients. Don't just call the staff into the office when these things are not being done correctly. It makes me feel I'm being written up, even if that's not your intention. I'm always wanting to put in my 2 weeks notice in, due to the mismanagement of staff.
Working environment and keeping up the work areas for their employees. Professional buildings are not visually appealing for their employees, customers and/or patients.

Ridgeview could improve environmental services by addressing ongoing heating and cooling concerns, water-related issues, and laundry service delays. Additionally, ensuring units are consistently stocked with essential supplies and equipment needed for patient care and daily job responsibilities—such as paper supplies, functioning vital sign equipment, and materials for required in-house testing (e.g., urinalysis screening supplies)—would improve workflow efficiency and patient care delivery. The admission process could also be improved by strengthening communication and organization at intake. Ensuring all required paperwork is completed, uploaded, and readily available before a patient is assigned or transported to the unit would help promote a smoother admission process and reduce delays in patient care.Staffing assignments should be determined based on patient acuity and level of care needs rather than solely on patient census numbers. Acuity-based staffing would help ensure safer patient care, improve staff support, and promote more balanced and appropriate workloads among team members.

RIS needs to take more time in the hiring process, monitor the staff at all levels and all shifts, and pay a decent wage for all levels.
