Been booking this site many times over the years. Needs some trimming/pruning now that surrounding trees/shrubs have grown.(S21)

Only concern is that the cost has gone way up and is starting to get closer to the price of a hotel with a pool. We love to camp and don’t want to feel forced into a hotel.

I’ve stayed at Riverside Resort Whistler many times over the past seven years and appreciate the consistency of the facilities. Staff interactions can occasionally feel brisk, which may affect the overall sense of welcome. I would also like to acknowledge Max, who provided exceptional assistance during this visit by helping move my gear between a camping site and a yurt. Further, he even ensured my gear was delivered to my yurt once it was ready. His support made the transition smooth and I was extremely grateful for his help.

Breakfast cafe would be nice. Disappointed that it was closed.

Didn’t stay in an RV site. Three of us stayed in a cabin. The only reason I rated our stay as a 4 is because it was difficult to sleep in the loft. Only one of us slept in the loft because the ceiling is too close to the beds and it is difficult to go up and down the ladder as a senior lady. This was a fit senior lady but she is tall so the loft is not ideal. Might be helpful to state this in your website. “May not be suitable for tall people or for anyone with mobility issues.”

We reserved by phone, followed by complete reservation at the time of arrival. We booked for a 3 night stay, however this was miscommunicated and only a 2 day booking was registered. As seniors we did not catch this error by e-mail, where as at the time of registration a hard copy of the dates required would have been instantly apparent. On the morning of the 3rd day we went off early touring, only to be surprised with a phone call that we needed to vacate the site promptly. This ended our stay abruptly having to leave Whistler to find new accommodation for that night.

The parking lot for the tents is a complete mess. People are parking sideways, while others leave huge gaps between vehicles, which means fewer parking spaces for everyone, especially on busy days. A few simple parking lines would make a big difference, keep everything organized, and help everyone park more efficiently.
