A bit brighter site

We were in the log cabin. So well built. Warm, comfortable. Be nice to have log cabins with more ground floor beds for older folks!

We love Riverside! We stayed up in the upper sites for the first time and really loved the atmosphere up there. The only thing is that site S18 is actually very dangerous. My husband slipped and fell half way down the cliff and really hurt his elbow. If it was a kid that had fallen, it probably would have resulted in serious injury or even death. I think a chain link fence (like at Nairn falls) would be a good safety measure.

kitchen could use sharp knife, better frying pan, salad bowls...love going there!

When we first booked, in January on the phone, we asked for a full hooked and close to the playground. When we arrived we were told full hook up wasn't available and that we were up in the top sectionThe kids couldn't walk to the playground.When I asked why the "service" person smile and nervously laughed. And said he couldn't do anything about it. We could go to the site and they could notify us if there was a cancelation. Right...not the best service. He looked at his computer for about 2 seconds and said sorry.

Probably the cleanest we’ve seen your facilities etc., washrooms had been painted etc.Your park setting is beautiful!!!

Enforce other guests to keep their sites to a standard. Do not let it go for months on end where they are allowed to leave their site an eyesore.

Lots of pitch from trees. Gets into everything

Long term winter partial area. Clean the bathhouse later in the day 9:30 is often an interruption to the morning. The bathhouse is the common bathroom and kitchen for all guests. Skipping cleaning when there are staff shortages is a disaster. Let guests know that leaving food scraps in the bathroom sink is gross. RV’s and Campers should be vetted. Older campers without enough amenities or space for the number of guests puts enormous pressure on the shared bathhouse in the partially serviced area. If guests have a poor living condition in their Van or RV they tend to spend time in the bathhouse as an extension of their living space. I have had personal experience with mental illness, homelessness and fuel leaks from older unmaintained units around me in the park. All were reported and dealt with. It was difficult. I strongly recommend a more thorough investigation of the units being booked in for long term partial areas.
