I was impressed with the cabin and amenities were adequate for my needs.

A little hard to see the site numbers in the dark with them being set back in the space - of course I was a late arrival - 7 pm so hard to avoid. Would be better if a the front edge.Overall everything else was great- loved how clean the washrooms were- definitely a plus and a rare occurrence for Whistler- Well done!

I dish washing station in the Juniper sites is a must. Taking dishes and sharing the sink in the other site and having to wait is so inconvenient. I had to drive down and wait and come back several times the other day and ended up giving up, only to head down the other day and it was shut for maintenance. Having a dishwashing station in the J sites i feel is a must if we are all up here. Also the bathrooms are rather cold, is there a way of turning up the heating in there just a smidge?

We stayed at Whistlerville for four nights and returned to the same cabin we rented last year. Unfortunately, this stay had several issues that affected our experience, even though last year was much better.1. Cleanliness of the Patio AreaWhen we arrived, the chairs on the patio were covered in berries. Although the patio is outdoors, the chairs are under the covered area, and last year they were clean. We had to wipe everything ourselves before settling in.2. Fridge Not Working (Same Issue as Last Year)For the second year in a row, the fridge wasn’t working when we arrived.• We tried turning it on, but it wouldn’t start.• Maintenance came and tried fixing it.• We had to take all our food in and out several times.• Eventually, they had to replace the fridge completely. This is something we expected to be checked before guests arrive, especially since the exact same problem happened last year in the same cabin.3. TV Not Connecting to the Wi-FiThe TV could not connect to Wi-Fi.Maintenance tried to fix it and eventually had to reset the Wi-Fi for the entire resort. We had to wait for this and postpone going out for dinner.4. Full Power Outage — Moving Cabins TwiceWhen my husband turned on the stove, the electricity in our cabin went out entirely.Maintenance couldn’t fix it immediately, so they moved us to a wheelchair-accessible cabin. We appreciate that they provided a cabin, but:• We had already fully unpacked for a 4-day stay.• The second cabin was completely different from what we booked — much smaller, and everything (bed, kitchen, living area) was in the same room.We weren’t comfortable staying there, but we moved all our things anyway because we had no choice. Then the maintenance person came back and told us that the power in our original cabin was restored, and we could return if we preferred. So we had to pack everything again and move back to the first cabin — our third full unpack/repack within a short amount of time. The maintenance person told us:• to keep both cabin keys for the rest of our stay, in case the power went out again• and to visit the office the next morning because they would “see what compensation they could offer”5. Confusion About CompensationBased on what maintenance told us, we expected that we would receive some form of compensation — such as a partial refund or discount — because our first night was completely disrupted. However, when we went to the office on the last day to return the keys, the staff member told us:“Oh no, it wasn’t compensation — we just meant giving you another cabin.”This was confusing and disappointing because:• Nobody came to us the next day to offer another cabin.• They didn’t reach out to check on us or follow up.• We were left waiting, not knowing what they meant.• And we were the ones who had to go to them in the end. After everything we went through — unpacking and repacking twice, waiting for repairs, losing our first evening — we honestly expected at least some gesture.Overall ExperienceWe returned to Whistlerville because we loved our experience last year. But this time, several preventable issues happened, and the way the “compensation” situation was communicated left us feeling misled and unvalued as guests. We hope this feedback helps improve communication, preparation, and follow-up for future visitors. We are now unsure if we will return, which is unfortunate because we hoped this would become our regular getaway spot.

the wall lights in the cabins are a little bright and bother the eyes, maybe a lower watt bulb or more obscure cover.. discovered the fan light too late

Yurts should have an awning over the entrance.Lighting as you approach the stairs to the washrooms is inadequate. There should be a sensor between the last one before the stairs and the one that lights the stairs. I’ve mentioned this before. It’s a safety issue. The wash station was boarded up. I understand due to possible freezing however it would have been appreciated if we had been informed ahead of time. It would’ve made a difference in the supplies we took and the types of meals we’d planned.

As always staff and site were excellent. Always anjoy the Thai food. Had a small problem with our rv which required ladders to fix. I asked a staff member if it was possible to borrow a couple of ladders and she delivered them to my site in minutes..extremely helpful..many thanks

Nice , full service RV experience. Happy to hear it’s 4 season. Sites though near neighbours but offered privacy. Showed my site off to friends that will be future customers!

Other than the screw up with next year’s site the stay was excellent. Staff is always lovely.
