I was told about an outstanding balance before I could see the dentist. The bill was not for me but for my adult son who is not on my insurance. This happened before and I made it clear that he is to be notified about his bills. This didn’t happen and I felt ambushed in this situation. I feel it was purposely done prior to me seeing the dentist so that I could feel like I wouldn’t be seen if I didn’t pay.
