Carroll is lovely and she is always helpful and has a smile. When I called to book the gentleman I spoke to took sometimes to figure things out and I needed up not getting the right site. I did call back after talking to the gentleman so I could talk to Carroll and got it straightened out and got the right site. 😃

The place is fantastic. If inwas going to complain about anything it would be the tv service and internet wifi are very slow. That being said we are camping and should be off the TV and phones anyways.

We’re a big group and have been coming for thanksgiving for 14 years. The amenities and the staff attention have decreased. The trail we once decorated is gone. The pool is closed. Hot tub - gone. The cabin’s heat stayed on, roasting the guests. The septic smell at our fire pit was terrible! As a group, we’ve definitely considered going elsewhere!

No one was available at check in as it was a Sunday. It was necessary for me to leave early on Monday morning to catch the ferry at Duke pt. I could see that you had a gate at the entrance that was locked at night. I phoned the contact number (answering service) provided to make sure that I was going to be able to get through the gate. They eventually gave me the correct code for the gate but seemed unsure if it would work. When no park attendant is available at check in you should provide all the necessary information to customers including the gate code. In the event of an emergency this could have been a disaster.

There’s some wire fencing behind site #80, it’s good to have there but it’s not attached. It’s just leaning against a couple trees. Should be properly installed.

We can’t think of anything else your stafff could do. They are amazing at all things the resort offers. Keep up the awesome work and we look forward to seeing you in No ember and March 2026 😊
