My only comment would be the street lights are on all night and shine into tents and trailers. If they could be motion activated or on a timer would be great

Love Rondalyn and the staff there. Booked for next year. Wish there was a cancellation list for specific sites.

Would have been nice for free icecream because we couldn't use pool first day or a discount.

We really like coming to Rondalyn. There are two things I’d love to see change: The WiFi - it’s gotten progressively worse over the years and is now almost unusable outside a 30ft radius from the office. Speeds close by are around 110Mbps but drop to 1-2Mbps a few steps away. I’m not a networking expert, but did run some scans when I was there. Signal quality/strength showed as -80 to -90dB in most locations which isn’t enough to be very useable. Often if the signal was ok, there was no throughput at all. It strikes me that as we move forward the demands of each camper requiring internet will only increase. I would very much like to see some care and attention paid to the configuration, coverage and bandwidth of the WiFi. Events etc. - we often come mid-week and don’t stay on weekends. However we do hear of food trucks or other activities taking place from time to time on Fri/Sat. Based on the number of campers on a random Tuesday (for example) I would guess that there would still be enough people there to make “Tuesday Taco truck” type things worth it for an outside vendor to come in. Movie nights could be held with an inflatable screen on the golf course. I’m sure other campers have had experiences at other campgrounds that they’d like to see at Rondalyn. Neither of the above would prevent us coming back if they don’t change but if it’s a financial issue (especially for the WiFi) I’d guess that $2/night increase in fees wouldn’t reduce bookings. Personally I’d rather see the overall site costs go up slightly than tacking on a WiFi (or premium access) fee.

We love camping here but you really need speed bumps on the paved roads through the sites. There are always a lot of kids and Ive seen vehicles towing trailers going way too fast. Also I still don’t like the fact that marijuana is allowed. I can’t stand the smell and I don’t want to be outside enjoying things with that smell around. Ive been to other campsites where it is not allowed on the property.
