access to pool for adults only between 5-6 is when adults should be home making food for kids so unless no kids, it is limiting and sun is going down so cooler.

The kids ride their electric two wheelers way too fast. Someone is going to get seriously hurt.

We have always enjoyed our stay. The one challenge we had was plugging into the electrical. It is facing into the shrubs, making it difficult to see and our 30 amp plug would not fit due to the casing around the box. Luckily we had an extention with a smaller plug. Our friends had the same issues at their sites. Turning the electrical boxes so they face into the site, rather then shrubs would be helpful.

Overal we love rondalyn.Only thing lacking was sometimes washrooms had no tp or paper towel.Other than that.will be going back soon

Please improve the laundry facilities, not enough machines.

Our sons were realy exited to fish the catch and release pond, but it didn’t look to be stocked for the season. We were unable to book our site online - but staff were able to help us by phone. Every staffer we spoke to was very accommodating and friendly. The type of service I hope for but often don’t receive. Really impressive. We wish we had more days booked - there was so much on site to do! Curious if you offer programming for kids (or movie nights, crafts, pancake breakfast etc.) we were only visiting kid-week but would be nice to know for next time.

We were right beside the pool. The site itself was excellent but the noise level from the pool was quite loud. We understand that would be almost impossible to change. It would don’t deter us from coming back.

The adult swim time 5:00-6:00 is at a very inconvenient time. This is usually when parents are cooking dinner for the family a well the sun is not shining on the pool at that time. I suggest 4:00-5:00 would be much better for the adult swim time and see no reason why it cannot be changed as the children have it for the entire day.

Site was lovely and staff are very friendly, helpful and prompt. A suggestion regarding pool schedule - would it be possible to have adult time only from 12-1 in addition to the evening hour? It seems like a good time since littles would be having lunch. My biggest concern this stay was related to safety and children / youth riding e-scooters and bicycles at high speed along the paved road but also cutting through empty sites, often at 10 pm or later. On my last night, after 11 pm, two youths on e-scooters went through my site twice, running over my power cord and dislodging it. I realize families come to Rondalyn to relax, have fun and let their children play in a safe space, and that riding bikes and scooters and staying up late is all part of the fun. The text reminder sent on July 2 was a great safety reminder. My only ‘wish’ is for better WiFi in the campground. I’m not from Nanaimo and was expecting to have internet access that would allow me to explore things to do in the area. See you next time!
