I wasn’t given clear instructions on what to do following the MRI. I was under the impression that my results would be sent to my Dr. and that they would reach out with results or post to my portal. But I didn’t hear back after about 5 days. I reached out to the office to inquire. They told me to give the doctor a few more days. So I gave him another week. Still nothing so I called back again. This time they informed me that I would need to make an appointment to get my results. I thought that was strange that neither Dr. Hubbard nor the phone staff could tell me that before. I waited three weeks post appointment for any answers. I ended up calling the place I got my MRI from and they gave me my report. Lastly, I thought Dr. Hubbard was not being respectful of my personal space during my appointment. He was very polite but made me uncomfortable by touching my leg unnecessarily while talking to me and sitting and speaking to me in close proximity. It made me quite anxious. Personal space should be respected and touching should be clinical. Maybe he was just trying to be friendly but it was uncomfortable and I did not have the bravery to say so in person.

Only issue was I coordinated MRI and XRay info with one employee but she was not in. Due to this they did not have my scans.

I always leave with more questions and feeling hopeful about the healing/recovery process. That is a good thing. I did not feel very hopeful after the PT that I had just ‘completed’ where I was told that I am done: (There was also an accident to my knees when I fell off the big ball while at PT that PT ignored even though witnessed. I will let that go because damage done. Back to the purpose of all my visits: My shoulder. Dr. Hubbard truly provides an energy and sense of, ‘don’t give up, there’s options that may take a bit longer’. That is not a quote. Rather, he encourages healing. I feel encouraged.

Your documentation that I was asked to sign is confusing. There is a clause about marketing my name and information to others and I didn’t want to agree to that. The woman at the desk insisted that’s not what it was but couldn’t explain what that clause meant or why it would be allowed. She then told me that not signing would mean she couldn’t send my records to anyone, including my primary care doctor. You need to separate disclosures about selling my name for commercial purposes to someone from authorizations to share with my doctor. Combining them feels ick. This is seriously a reason I might not come back.At the end I was sent to sit near x-ray, which they also called the pharmacy. That confused me and nobody explained anything. When I asked how long it would take for the pharmacy to be done, the attendant looked blankly at me and said “I don’t know.” This is never an acceptable response. Go find out. Finally, I wasn’t given an option at first to have my Rx sent to another pharmacy. I don’t mind you trying to integrate your pharma in-house, but you should give patients the option to use their regular pharmacy. I should opt in to your pharmacy, not have to opt out.Dr. Hubbard himself was great. Do recommend him.
