Dr. Nagda is the Superhero of Shoulders. Prior to surgery, friends and family made dire predictions about the outcome, citing non-scientific evidence such as “my friend never got full range of motion back” or “I know someone who had surgery years back and still has problems.” I ignored them and forged ahead with surgery. Admittedly, the first few weeks were not a walk in the park and physical therapy was challenging. This is major surgery and should be treated as such. But the recovery rate exceeded my expectations. With physical therapy and home exercises, I feel at least 80% back to normal. I’m 66 and by no means in good shape, so I’m elated at how well the surgery and recovery has gone. I tell anyone will listen the following three things: don’t wait to have joint replacement until the pain is unbearable, go to the Anderson Clinic, and do exactly what they tell you to do or not to do. I also tell them to have a positive attitude and to trust the doctor completely. I told Dr.Nagda on my first visit that if I didn’t trust him, I wouldn’t be sitting in his office. I would like you to know that I am doing great. After one year of my right side shoulder replacement.. I am doing everything just like what I have use to do. I painted my house, power washed my home siding, lift 18 foot ladder, lifting 32 bottle water cases, racking my yard... etc. No more pain and lose sleep. Dr. Sameer Nagda usually answer all my questions and explains the surgery and what to expect. I can't say thank you enough to his work with me and to his staff. The office is great! The Anderson Clinic is a finely run machine. And by getting in as quickly as I did, I avoided surgery and healed (nondisplaced distal humerus fracture) far more quickly than I expected.
